Scope of duties
The Human Resources Specialist’s core focus is managing the full recruitment cycle (excluding management positions) and serving as the primary point of contact for recruitment-related inquiries. This includes everything from talent sourcing to onboarding new hires. The role also involves handling employee documentation, overseeing the introduction and familiarization processes, and supporting employee benefits administration. Working closely with departmental managers, the specialist ensures a smooth and efficient hiring process, contributes to the organization’s overall talent acquisition strategy, and supports HR projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with departmental managers and external recruitment agencies to identify staffing needs and define job requirements.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Post job listings on various job boards, company websites, and social media platforms.
- Conduct initial resume screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and departmental managers.
- Conduct reference checks and verify employment histories.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by keeping candidates informed throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including orientation sessions and paperwork completion for new employees.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits-related inquiries.
- Coordinate training and development activities for employees.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, GDPR, and company policies.
- Support HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Implement and make suggestions for improving the Group’s management system.
Required Qualifications / Competencies
- University degree in Human Resources.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or HR, with a proven track record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent understanding of labour laws and GDPR regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in both Greek and English, spoken and written.
