Scope of duties
The Legal Administrator is responsible for providing high-level administrative support and contributing to the legal and compliance functions that underpin the Group’s diverse business activities. The role focuses on maintaining corporate legal documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the Group’s legal entities.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Legal Department
- Develops, organizes and maintains the filing system for corporate documents and legal agreements, ensuring easy accessibility and security.
- Prepares and submits necessary documentation to the Registrar of Companies, facilitating timely compliance and accurate record-keeping.
- Develops, maintains, and monitors procedures for legal and compliance functions, adopting a proactive approach to identify improvements.
- Arranges for document execution, certification, apostille, and legalization, and liaises with notary and government offices, such as the Department of Land Registry etc.
- Prepares, reviews, and executes corporate legal documents, including approvals, resolutions, powers of attorney, and minutes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Supports the day-to-day legal operations of the Group’s entities, addressing queries and providing guidance as required.
- Maintains legal and corporate registers in line with departmental procedures.
- Performs various office tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the Legal Department.
- Implements the Group’s Management System, including legal processes and procedures, contributing to the improvement of the Group.
Required Qualifications / Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Law or similar)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an in-house legal team or at a service provider.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within the legal team.
- A team-oriented approach, able to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
